Habels Furniture Stores have been in Winchester since 1945, when Mr Jack Habel and his wife Gretel opened their first shop making their own beds and upholstery for sale to the public.

The days when Jack would deliver a wardrobe on his motorbike and sidecar are long gone. His son Danny is now the Managing Director and he ensures that the care and service Jack provided for his customers in those days lives on in the company now.
