Habels wins Early Entry Business Award

The Test Valley Business Awards Early Entry prize draw took place in December and Habels, the independent furniture retailer of Andover and Winchester is the winner.

This fabulous business prize was sponsored by the Federation of Small Business (FSB) and gives Habels one FSB Annual Membership package, valued at £300, plus an additional range of good-value business services.

Habels, is a long established family business, employing fourteen staff, with its main showroom and head office in Andover. Danny Habel said "Habels heads into 2010 full of optimism, and the support of the FSB will certainly be very helpful." Neil Eames, FSB Wessex Regional Organiser, said: "The Federation of Small Business is delighted to sponsor the Early Entry Prize to encourage entries. The FSB is the UK's leading organisation which champions the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms.

Record Run for Neonatal Unit!

Congratulations to Danny for completing the New Forest half marathon in a personal best!

He took part to raise funds for the wonderful Neonatal Unit at the Princess Anne Maternity
Hospital in Southampton, which cares for approximately 700 sick newborn babies each
year. The money raised will help buy pieces of equipment needed to care for these babies and to provide comfortable surroundings for the parents, many of whom spend months visiting
